Over the next little while, we at Savur Outdoors are going to be introducing you to some of our pro staff team members so you can see who is out there representing Savur Outdoors, maybe even in your neck of the woods. We figured what better way than with a fun little interview! This interview is with Nicholas Beltran of Tackle Fishing Adventures! Nicholas is a native of Miami Florida where he enjoys many times of fishing including targeting the mighty peacock bass! He is the host of the Tackle Fishing Adventures YouTube Channel where he shares all of his fishing adventures and his love for the sport. In addition to Savur Outdoors, Nicholas is also partnered with Line Cutterz, Anglr, A Band of Anglers, Tactacam and Nines Optics which all help him out on the water and gives him a chance to help others choose the right fishing equipment.
Savur Outdoors: How long have you been fishing?
Nicholas Beltran: Since I was 2 years old.
SO: What is your earliest fishing memory?
NB: My dad handing me a rod for the first time and I casting it like a crazy person and landing a small peacock!
SO: Who's your fishing hero?
NB: Kwanzaa Henderson
SO: When was the last time you fun-fished, and what did you fish for?
NB: I fun fish no matter the situation!
SO: What's your home body of water?
NB: The waters in and around Miami
SO: What's your favorite Savur Outdoors product?
NB: Split Grip Rod Float. It is a great concept and it is so reliable!
SO: Tell us your lost rod/bow/gear story.
NB: Luckily I haven't had one of those issues [yet], but I I'm aware they occur and the smartest thing for me to do is to protect my investment for the future.
SO: What song do you typically listen to on the way to the water?
NB: I'm an old school rock head so pretty much any rock! I love me some Van Halen!
SO: What do you do when you aren't fishing?
NB: Work, spend time with family, and golf.
SO: Coffee or soda?
NB: COFFEE!
SO: What's your favorite TV show of all time?
NB: THE OFFICE!
SO: What's food is your guilty pleasure?
NB: Seafood.
SO: What is your hidden or surprising talent?
NB: I play a few different musical instruments.
