Our mission is to provide a tactical solution to the loss of fishing gear into our: oceans, lakes, rivers, and streams. The goal is to get your fishing rod, fishing bow, or action camera back into your hands. As anglers we are inherently driven to conserve our fisheries for future generations but, accidents can happen. For the past sixty years, we have been losing fishing rods that do not biodegrade like the bamboo rods used by our grandfathers. Yes, we want to save you money by getting your gear back, but the big picture is to conserve our fisheries for many generations to come. Thank you for visiting Savur Outdoors.
Savur Outdoors retrieval devices are designed to recover lost fishing rods, action cameras, and fishing bows. Our product is based on the same science as an auto-inflatable lifejacket to deploy a float that has 60 feet of 20# fishing line spooled onto it. After deployment, the float rises to the surface and you can pull your gear up from a depth of 60 feet of water or more. The retrieval devices are pressure activated, rain and shallow brief dips in the water will not deploy them. Shallower depths take a little longer, but when Savur reaches a depth of about 4 feet of water, the salt bobbin dissolves, and the spring-loaded float blasts off with enough force to move your fishing rod, bow, or camera out of the way. This action clears a path for the float to rise to the surface. Then, you simply reload it. All Savur Outdoors retrieval devices are reloadable and is the first and only reloadable retrieval system of its kind.
